HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Lumen Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around New Orleans. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
