HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Pike Auto Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vehicle inspections. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
