HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Bluepeak Ember Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
