HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Cedar Nest Financial Associates is a financial-services company in Birmingham. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vendor spend. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
