HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood West Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Hartford region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
