HR Business Partner - onboarding (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Maple Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Providence, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
