HR Business Partner - onboarding (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Wilder Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Providence. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Providence. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
