HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

Amberfield Vista Community Partners is a Portland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
