HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Iron Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Portland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vehicle inspections. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
