HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Northwind Amber Community Partners and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Portland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
