HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

Greenridge Granite Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Portland area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
