HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

Summit Sparrow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Portland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on care plans. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
