HR Business Partner - onboarding (Portland, OR)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 602 people based in Portland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lines. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
