HR Business Partner - onboarding (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Harbor Freight Partners moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Pittsburgh. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 91 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
