HR Business Partner - onboarding (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Union Inspection Services is an inspection company in Pittsburgh with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 722 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
