HR Business Partner - onboarding (Pittsburgh, PA)

Westbrook Wilder Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Pittsburgh. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
