HR Business Partner - onboarding (Phoenix, AZ)

Harborlight Junction Community Partners is a nonprofit in Phoenix supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
