HR Business Partner - onboarding (Omaha, NE)

Westbrook Kestrel Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Omaha region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on temp assignments. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
