HR Business Partner - onboarding (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Junction Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Omaha, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
