HR Business Partner - onboarding (Omaha, NE)

Cedar Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Omaha plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tooling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
