HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Orchard Transit Planning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service alerts. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
