HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Medical and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on complaint handling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with complaint handling. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
