HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Ember Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance stores. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
