HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
