HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Oakland with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on test reports. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
