HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
