HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Maple Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Oakland plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
