HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Ember Construction is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
