HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Clearpath Beacon Press is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
