HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Yarrow Hospitality Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with food costs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
