HR Business Partner - onboarding (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Bridge Freight is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 949 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
