HR Business Partner - onboarding (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on equipment calibration. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
