HR Business Partner - onboarding (Madison, WI)

Nova Rook Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for resident services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 586 people based in Madison. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with resident services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
