HR Business Partner - onboarding (Louisville, KY)

Bright Vale Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 589 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
