HR Business Partner - onboarding (Las Vegas, NV)

Westbrook Orchard Civic Services works with county and city offices around Las Vegas, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
