HR Business Partner - onboarding (Las Vegas, NV)

Ironwood Sparrow Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Las Vegas, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
