HR Business Partner - onboarding (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Redstone Meridian Freight and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
