HR Business Partner - onboarding (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Cross Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Knoxville, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
