HR Business Partner - onboarding (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Junction Water Authority Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter reading. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
