HR Business Partner - onboarding (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen River Press is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 157 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on print quotes. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
