HR Business Partner - onboarding (Jacksonville, FL)

Amberfield Birch Freight Group is a Jacksonville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
