HR Business Partner - onboarding (Jackson, MS)

Summit Harbor Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
