HR Business Partner - onboarding (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Lakeside Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Indianapolis. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
