HR Business Partner - onboarding (Houston, TX)

Stonegate Orchard Hospitality is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for group events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Houston. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
