HR Business Partner - onboarding (Houston, TX)

Cedar Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Houston serving local and national clients, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
