HR Business Partner - onboarding (Houston, TX)

Lumen North Construction is a Houston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
