HR Business Partner - onboarding (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Pike Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
