HR Business Partner - onboarding (Honolulu, HI)

Ironwood Meadow Press produces print and digital publications in Honolulu. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on press runs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
