HR Business Partner - onboarding (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Corner Water Authority and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
