HR Business Partner - onboarding (Hartford, CT)

Summit Ashton Environmental Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
